EC Coroner-Case 2112/42A-Arsonist/Gordon Bldg.

The young man of slight build and long blonde hair... or should one still say boy (as he was a recent graduate of Epic City University) swung the door to the City Morgue "meat room" wide open and traipsed through it in a huff as he threw his black canvas briefcase into an old, worn, wooden chair.  His tan colored overcoat making vain attempts to keep up with him since briskly leaving City Hall finally catches up to him and settles down towards his legs.  He advances towards "the slab" where the victim once laid.... the victim that so clearly told him that he had been murdered.

Pounding his fist on the cold aluminum slab, Applebee curses, "How could those bastards care so little for the truth?"

"Sure, it appears from the evidence that he was a criminal, but that does NOT justify another man murdering him in such a calloused way!  Why are they going to turn their backs on this travesty?  The man who murdered him is no less a criminal than he was!"

Swinging around while running his fingers through his hair, he continues talking to the large, semi-stark "hospital white" room that is coldly adorned with the silver of tables, meat lockers, a variety of utensils; and the occasional browns and dark greens of a couple of desks, chairs, and an upper border that atrociously "decorates" the room.

"Why would Big Brady and Silverback be so willing to just let something like this go?"

Then something dawns upon Applebee... as he realizes that in his impetuous youth, he might have made a mistake...    "Damn!  -  I hope I don't get into trouble for not going to Charlie with this first!"
